NEW LAWS AND REGULATIONS
Holiday home waste is now labelled as commercial waste, so by law holiday lets and self-catering accommodation are not permitted to use the Council’s household collection service.
The Controlled Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2012 set out how councils must deal with waste from holiday lets and self-catering accommodation.
The legislation says that these premises are businesses and should pay for a commercial waste service, including collection and refuse disposal charges….. but don’t worry, we can dispose of your waste instead!
WHO ARE WE
WHY CHOOSE US?
All our collections take place on your accommodation changeover day and our fees are invoiced monthly.
All bags are recycled at Cornwall recycling centres (SUEZ) and are burnt and recycled for energy in the national grid amongst other recycled uses and we never knowingly send our recycling to landfills.
We are fully licensed with upper tier cover to carry out and dispose of your holiday waste using registered and insured sign written vehicles with uniformed and trained drivers. Our registration number is CBDU360935.
We provide high quality replacement eco friendly recycling bags, all refuse and recycling must be in bags ready to be collected as this speeds up the process and keeps our drivers safe, protected and efficient, this in turn maintains our prices stay low and very competitive. We charge a hazardous rate if refuge is placed in bins without bags.

We are registered for upper tier waste carrier with the environment agency. Our registration number is CBDU360925.
We are locally based in West Cornwall so we are on hand for last minute collections.
All waste collected gets transported to Cornwall recycling centres (SUEZ) and are burnt and recycled for energy in the national grid amongst other recycled uses and we never knowingly send our recycling to landfills.
Our waste is burnt producing zero emissions with is then turned into energy which is sent back to the national grid.
Left over residue ash is used in aggregate for road works.
Our collection vehicles complete collections locally to keep miles driven down to a minimum and this keeps our carbon footprint as low as possible.
We work closely with our clients and offer a collection service on changeover days when organised in advance.
